Starring Vanessa Williams as Runway Magazine editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly, the West End musical opens in London in October 2024.
With music by Elton John, lyrics by Shaina Taub and a book by Kate Wetherhead, the new musical is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger.
Jerry Mitchell directs and choreographs. He has brought some of the most iconic musicals to Broadway, West End and other countries. Mitchell also directed and choreographed the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Kinky Boots. His other musical credits include Legally Blonde, Pretty Woman and Hairspray, among others.

The legendary actress, singer and performer headlines the musical rendition of the famous 2006 movie. Meryl Streep played Priestly in the movie. Debbie Kurup will alternate Williams in the role of Miranda.

Henry’s critically acclaimed stage performances include starring in Saturday Night Fever, Avenue Q and The Drifters Girls. Stanley Tucci played the part of Nigel in the movie.
Amy Di Bartolomeo as Emily, Miranda’s assistant

Di Bartolomeo starred in ‘Glory Ride,’ ‘For Tonight,’ ‘Light in the Piazza,’ and more. Emily Blunt portrayed the character in the movie.
Georgie Buckland as Andy, Miranda’s newly hired assistant

The Devil Wears Prada marks Buckland’s West End debut. Her previous credits include Shrek the Musical, Disney’s Bedknobs and Broomsticks among other. Anne Hathaway portrayed Andy Sachs in the movie.
Rhys Whitfield as Nate, Andy’s boyfriend

Whitfield’s has previously starred on West End in The Phantom of The Opera, Summer and Smoke and Close To You, among other productions. Adrian Grenier played Nate in the movie.
James Darch as Christian, a journalist

Darch is a seasoned West End performer, with his credits including Mamma Mia, Wicked, as well as many television and film credits such as Netflix’s The Sandman.

The Devil Wears Prada musical will play at the Dominion Theatre in London’s West End from 24 October 2024.
Booking is currently available for performances until 31 May 2025 at devilwearspradamusical.com. The show times are Monday to Saturday at 19:30 (evening) and Wednesday & Saturday at 14:30 (matinee).
