After Dua Lipa asked a fan at her Melbourne concert last week to “leak” the song on a USB flash drive, the singer has now officially dropped the remix on all streaming platforms.
Troye Sivan was a special guest during the Australian leg of Dua’s Radical Optimism tour, which made a stop in Melbourne on March 22.
The duo made headlines by teaming up to perform Troye’s Grammy-nominated hit “Rush.” Dua joined Troye on stage, dancing along to the song’s iconic choreography.
Later during the show, the two superstars approached the front row of the concert. According to Cosmopolitan, “Dua wanted someone to upload her and Troye’s unreleased remix of her Future Nostalgia fan favorite, “Physical” online as a treat.”
While passing the flash drive to a fan who had waited 24 hours before the concert at the venue, Dua asked, “Are we trusting you to leak it?”
A few hours later, the remix was uploaded online to TikTok by user @caitlyn_cantwell.
Almost a week later, the official remix is now available on streaming platforms, commemorating five years since the release of Dua Lipa’s record-breaking Future Nostalgia album in 2020.
